We ventured out early on Saturday to meet our friends, Brantley, Katie and sweet Eleanor, at the Downtown Durham Farmer's Market. We love that kind of thing. You can see Julian and Kalen in the photo waiting to buy a cucumber for a snack.
We had a grand ol' time. We bought some fresh kale, onions and tomatoes. It was a neat experience.
Just before we left, the kids played on an enormous turtle there at the park area.
I am sure we will be going back there soon, seeing how all we eat is veggies and dirt. Hee hee. (We get comments frequently about our vegan diet.)
