A Visit From The Walters

We had company this past weekend. Mandy and her family came for a visit. She and her husband, Jamie, brought their four children. Mandy and I were roommates in college. We have remained close throughout the years. Our families really have not spent that much time together. Our children quickly took to one another during the visit. We ate together, shared lots of giggles, had some good conversations and just lived together for a few days. It was sweet and natural. The Walters are such a fun bunch. We are so thankful they were able to hang out with us for a couple of days.

Here is Abby reading to Madelyn. What a light this little girl is!

I stopped this crew and made them pause for a photo. They were playing Playmobil, just one of the many things they got into during the visit.

Here I am with Mandy and her baby, Liberty.

Can I just say that I LOVED having a baby in the house this weekend. What a joy to hear the sounds of a baby within our home. It had been awhile. Libby is such a cutie.

Here we all are at one of the meals we shared together. I think this is the meal that Jed and Abby were cracking me up with their knock-knock jokes.

Madelyn totally enjoyed having Liberty here. It was sweet to see her hold her.

Almost instantly, they became pals. From left to right here is Jed, Kalen, Julian, Brayden and Joshua.

Love Maddie's painting of the crabs, love the colors she used!

Thumbs up on the book recommendation too, one of our faves when the boys were little!
