3:14

I thought I would give you all a glimpse into our home at 3:14 pm today.

The table shows evidence of a prior play time involving pots, pans and play-doh.  The mess on the floor still mounted after the kid's early venture out into the snow.

Yes!  We woke up to a sweet blanket of snow this morning.  This is our back porch at 3:14.

At 3:14, these two were in the tub.  This is what you do with young ones when they have exhausted other activities within the house, they can't go out and they are acting like little tornadoes.

This is my laundry basket at 3:14.  A load is in the dryer about to join this mountain.  Folding is in my future.

After completing all their homeschooling and other responsibilities, Julian is playing Yoshi's Island on our Gameboy.  Madelyn is cheering him on.

Sometimes there is at least one room full of sweetness and peace during the day.  Madelyn's room happens to be that one today.

This room, on the other hand, is a disaster!  This is the result of a combined room time with Kalen and Brady.

Like the attempt of a hideout?  Clever little playmates.

yikes!

Looks like my house today at pretty much the same time. I don't have pics to prove it, but I think mine IS worse.

The joys of motherhood and homeschooling!

This is great... especially when we feel like everyone else has perfect houses. :) I love Madelyn's room.
I noticed on the sidebar the books you are reading to each child. How do you work out reading separately to each of them? We usually all read together. Thanks!

anna g~ to answer your question. we read picture books on the couch before heading up to brush the kid's teeth. then, i read to the kids each individually in their beds at night. scott does the same if he isn't in a night class. we have been doing this since they were born.
