Our Day

We celebrated yet another birthday today.  This time it was mine!  Yep, turning the big 3-1 tomorrow.  Here's a pretty good play by play of today's events  . . . Mom and Annette came early this morning and went to the farmer's market with us.  I really like going to the farmer's market, so it was especially sweet of Mom and Annette to offer to go with us.  The kid's were able to get some free tomato plants and we bought some pepper plants for our back deck.  Madelyn found some super fun earrings and used her money to get those.  She is into dangle earrings now.  :)  

Then, it was on to the soccer field.  Julian and Kalen both had games today.  We were so happy that not only Mom and Annette were here to watch the boys, but Jan, Jerry and Shanda came as well.  As the sun beat down on us this morning, both boys SCORED A GOAL!  We were going nuts!  I got a picture of Kalen playing his game, but I think I was too busy jumping up and down at Julian's game to even take a picture.  They both did an amazing job today.  It was a thrill to watch them both, so determined and focused.  :)  I love being a soccer mom.  

We said our goodbyes to Mom and Annette after they gave me some birthday goodies and we were off to Mellow Mushroom to have a late lunch.  Our whole crew was pretty tired after being in the 90 degree heat, but we were happy all the same to spend some time together eating, laughing and loving.  

We came back to the house for chocolate chip muffins and enjoyed hanging out for awhile.  Then the Morrisons were off.  Our little family had a sweet little evening here at home.  What a fun day.  I feel super loved.
