This morning we took another field trip to the Carolina Theatre. We bought tickets to see Stone Soup and other stories. Our homeschool group here in Durham is very active and offers field trips to this sort of thing monthly. It is usually a different crowd that gathers each time, so you get to know lots of new families. I don't know how well I would have transitioned our move to Durham without this homeschooling group. As a homeschooling family, it is vital to be a part of a group and aware of the many resources and events that are available around us.
The theatre was jam packed with kids. The atmosphere was just like a real theatre with balconies. It is the type of place you go in and feel special just being there. We had such a great time!

FUN!!!! Oh, I LOVE this kind of thing. We have a local theater we go to often, but it's no where near as nice as this one. I love the theater!! Isn't it just magical:)
