Visit from Dad and Sally

Being the loyal NC State fans that they are, Dad and Sally flew in yesterday, from Kentucky, to go to the first State home football game. They have season's tickets! They came over right after renting a car. We were able to visit with them for a good bit before they went to tailgate with some friends.

The kids enjoyed playing games with them, drawing them pictures, talking with them and just being near them. Of course, I loved being with these two as well. I took some cute shots I will share with you.

After Dad and Sally left, we decided to go for a big bike ride on the American Tobacco Trail. I may have mentioned it before. It is fabulous. It is a big trail with plenty of nature to surround us. It was a perfect afternoon for it. It is so nice to have something like that relatively close to us. It reminds us of Boone. We had a wonderful time. This is something we will continue to do as a family. It is simple, yet meaningful.

That trail looks awesome. Reminds me of the one we had in Indy. Wish we had something like that here. Love the pics! love you and miss you, jen
