This is Kalen on the way home at 9:45 pm! Living on the edge, right?
My dad and Sally came to our house last night. They were in town for our birthday party (next post) that we had today for our kids. They took us out to our favorite pizza hot spot, Mellow Mushroom and then to the Durham Bulls game. We had so much fun! It was such a treat to spend time with them amongst the crowded pizza joint and the packed stadium. As we were leaving the stadium, Dad pulled the kids aside into the gift shop and bought them all a Durham Bulls hat. What a special moment!
They stayed over last night. It was a comfort having them under our roof. We miss them when we are not with them. They'll travel back to Kentucky tomorrow. We are so thankful for the memories that were made with them over the last couple of days.

One of the most fun things about living in or near Durham is going to the Bulls' games! We love the family-friendly stadium and it's just so much fun!! It looks like you had a great time!! When we come to visit we'll have to go to another Bulls' game!
