Playdate and Garden Progress

Yesterday, Lisa and I did our play date swap.  Blake and Kalen had a good time playing this and that all in and around our home.  Here are some quick pics from their afternoon.

Here are some photos from our garden.

This is our Romaine Lettuce

Red Leaf Lettuce

Green Pepper Plant

Broccoli

Collard Greens
This weekend we (actually Scott) will plant some of the plants we have been sheltering from the colder temperatures.  We are so hopeful about our garden.

Hey Hey. Everything looks great in the garden! Congrats! All the plants look raring to go. It is such an exciting time to watch everything really start to grow once we hit this extended warm weather.

Do you all have the rain barrel in operation? Does it have a spigot? Will you do a post on it?

Okay, Anna, I'm officially jealous. We are supposed to have snow this weekend and my little piddly seedlings are still in my kitchen! Maybe I need to come visit you and Mandy and bring them along to soak up some NC sunshine! What a beautiful job you are all doing in the garden. Will you plan to eat from it most of the summer?
