Good Times

Friday, we welcomed the Givens family over for dinner and a night of fun.  Kim and Tommy have three beautiful children; Anna, Isaiah and Amaya.  We had a wonderful evening of good conversations, food, laughter, and play.

Saturday, was a full family day that started with some yummy Banana - Pecan Pancakes topped with Strawberries.  Such a wonderful way to start any day.  We went to UNC's campus with Scott as he tied up some loose ends.  What a gorgeous campus!  Julian had a soccer game that afternoon and Scott helped coach.

Last night, we decided to take a family bike ride up the American Tobacco Trail.  I have mentioned this before in previous posts.  The trail didn't disappoint us a bit last night.  It was so full of green, so peaceful.  We met a little friend a long the way.  Everyone had such a great attitude.

We were on a bike ride Saturday afternoon too. I will be posting about that later:) It is so nice to have a little more family time at the end of a semester. I think everyone is relieved as we see the end in sight! Daniel just has a few more days of work before his break between semesters and we are so looking forward to the extra family time! love you guys, maybe we'll see you soon?! Jen

sweet!

I wasn't quite sure what to expect in the pictures, when you talked about coming across a friend. I thought it could be a turtle (the friends we always came across as children) or, knowing you guys, it could have been a nice little, harmless, black snake.:) The little frog-friend is cute!!
