Inspiration for His Song "Cinderella"

Tonight, I found this clip attached to a news article online. My heart has been so heavy today for Steven Curtis Chapman's family. They lost their littlest one yesterday. If you watch this video through, you will then hear him talk about what inspired him to write this song. Get your tissue box first.

Moms and Dads, let's slow down. Let us savor the simple moments with our children.

I head about this on the news. I'm so sad for them. I couldn't imagine and I feel so sad for the brother who ran over her. I know he must have all this guilt. I just hope he can forgive himself and know that it's not his fault and he can continue to live his life.

Thank you for posting this clip. It is a reminder once again that our children will only be this age for this moment.

Thanks for this post - I had never heard this song but am thankful for you sharing it with us. I am also curious as to how you can post something like this off of YouTube....can you share your technical expertise with me? Thanks!

Daphne~ you can click on the right hand bottom corner where it says You Tube. Find a clip you want to share, such as this, and find the section that says something about embedding it. Copy all that is in the designated area and directly paste it to your new post. You know where you would write your normal post, just paste it right there. It will come up with a lot of mumbo jumb, but click preview and you'll see that you have indeed succeeded in embedding it. Hope you find this helpful. Comment again if you get stumped.
